DELANEY FAULDS

Delaney Faulds is an emerging singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Alabama.

Delaney has a knack for captivating listeners with her heartfelt songwriting, angelic voice, soul-stirring melodies, and beautiful harmonies. Delaney says she “has to write songs, whether anyone hears them or not is irrelevant. It’s just something I have to do every day.” So, it’s no surprise she grew up heavily influenced by modern prolific songwriter-artists, like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift and classics like Bob Dylan and U2. Delaney’s pop infused music is emotional, relatable, and introspective, reflecting her true singer-songwriter spirit.

Delaney’s musical journey started early. She began penning songs at eight; singing and playing instruments at nine; passing the competitive audition for the Bluebird Café’s iconic Writer’s Night in Nashville at twelve; releasing original music at fifteen; having songs taken at pitches at sixteen; and having songs cut by other indie artists at seventeen. Delaney has also been attending songwriting workshops around the country for years, including many through NYU, Vanderbilt, Durango Songwriter’s Expo, and Nashville Songwriter’s Association International (NSAI).

Delaney has consistently received accolades for her songwriting.  NSAI alone named Delaney among the “Best of Tin Pan South Songwriter’s Seminar” and awarded three of her songs “Top 40.” In 2025, one of her songs was awarded overall "Top 20" in the NSAI Chapter Challenge. At the 2025 NSAI Member Awards, Delaney won the overall "One to Watch" songwriting award. She has also been showcased as an artist at major events in her hometown of Huntsville, as well in other cities throughout the US.

In 2021, Delaney released two EPs, which each produced songs that received airplay in the UK and US. She released three singles in 2024 and two this year, which, collectively, have over a million streams on Spotify. Currently, Delaney resides in Nashville, where she is studying songwriting at Belmont University. She has multiple singles slated for release throughout 2026 and is currently in the studio recording more original music.
